About us

Our first Hop-Control, also known as the "Sterler device" by the hop farmers, was developed by Georg Sterler more than 40 years ago for his parents' hop business.

From 1986 to 2014 Hop-Control was manufactured and sold under the company name GST-electronic. In the meantime, the former GST-electronic has been transferred to Tec-IN GmbH.

Since then, our passion for hops and many years of experience in electronics development have been used continuously to further develop our products and to optimally supplement our product portfolio.
